I chatted with Eric over at The Creative Marketing Zone on his latest episode of the podcast about why it's so important as a business owner in this day and age to clearly define the WHY behind your business, and how to use that for an effective marketing strategy. Listen in if you need a jolt of inspiration as you round out this year and plan for the next!

I am so excited to be a speaker at the 2017 VenturePOP! Conference in New Orleans. In its third year, I have heard nothing but amazing things about this event, and am beyond thrilled to be included alongside an incredible roster of speakers. Won't you join me in NOLA? Conference dates: September 30 - October 1.

I met Jessica of Ideology Photography at a Whiskey & Pearls networking event in February, and I was so humbled when she asked to feature me on her interview series. She kept me laughing the entire time during our shoot at Hotel San Jose - hiding behind cacti and amongst the trees to get the perfect shot!

It's no secret - I LOVE Juice Society. It's become my home office away from home. There is gorgeous natural light, great Wifi, easy access to plugs, and not to mention the BEST juices, smoothies, and healthy snacks. It's the total package! At the end of the year, Danielle asked me to share my thoughts on how to make 2017 the best year yet!

Join me for the first annual Creatives Meet Business Experience in Austin, TX, a unique style of conference focused on collaboration, interactive workshops, and hands-on learning. I'll be hosting a 2-hour workshop on The Art of Differentiation - Knowing What You Do and How to Talk About It. Grab your badge, and I'll see you Sep. 14-16!

In another addition to the Small Business School series on The Paper + Craft Pantry blog, I'm talking all about what you really need to focus on when it comes to developing your marketing plan. It's not all stats & follower counts; you have to find ways to really connect with those people who are your most avid supporters.

Clif, the owner of The Early Hours Clothing, attended the December Own Your Why intensive, and I am so lucky to now call him a friend. He is insanely talented with a brand that has an enviable loyal audience. Clif is an inspiration to me to keep working hard for what you believe in and putting the people and the quality of your product first.

Misty co-hosts we are the REVELERS with her husband Randy, and she is also the fearless leader of a mastermind group of which I don't know how I got so lucky to be included. She speaks truth, exudes calm, and has helped me in innumerable ways. It was truly an honor to chat with both of them about living a life with purpose.

I am thrilled to be a part of The Moons Within by being a regular blog contributor. Indigo, the founder of TMW, wants to create an online space for women business owners who crave intentional connection and to add a spiritual element to their businesses. It's been so fun to explore this and write about my introspective marketing philosophy. Dive in here!

Devan so graciously asked me to be a guest for her Creative Brand Chat series where we have a real-time, unedited, and unfiltered conversation about being a business owner. Ours covered topics related to how to market your small business in a way that feels unique to you, all while staying true to your core purpose—Your Why. Hope you enjoy it!

I was fortunate enough to meet Ashland Viscosi in the fall of 2016. Since then, I've participated in her exquisite small group coaching program CreativeTribes. This episode is an excerpt from the Creatives Meet Business Digital Marketing event that I was so honored to be one of six speakers. It's a 12-min quick listen all about email marketing!

In honor of Valentine's Day, I contributed to the Small Business School series on The Paper + Craft Pantry blog to talk about how to exceed client expectations. Did you know that it's more expensive to gain a new customer than it is to maintain a current one? Read my tips on what you can do to keep your clients coming back for more.
